Happy New Year! I can’t believe it’s already 2016. This is both my favourite and least favourite time of year. It feels like there’s so much promise, when the new year is just a couple of days old, but it also feels a little bit pressured. At least in my knitting resolutions, I see nothing but fun ahead for my new year.
Even though Christmas hasn’t happened yet, my mind has moved past it already (blame working in the publishing industry; there I’m getting started on 2017). Potential New Years Resolutions are streaming through my mind, and knitting-wise, the same one pops into my head each year (just like the perpetual “I will lose weight this year!”): stop buying so much yarn and knit down the stash.
I realize I’m a little late, but I’m still recovering from the holidays. No, I don’t mean wild parties. I’m recovering from holiday knitting.
I shared a couple of my knitting New Year’s Resolutions last week. While I think I’ll do okay with those, it’s my personal resolutions that will be a bit of a challenge. Over the past week, I’ve gathered apps that I hope will help me, and I thought I’d share my personal goals and some of the apps I’ll be using! I’d also love to hear what apps you use.
We survived! I’m so happy 2012 is over. I’m ready for a new beginning.
Tis the season for those infamous/dreaded New Year’s Resolutions! We’ll all promise to lose weight, exercise more, spend more time with our families, manage our finances better, clean the house more often, and everything else we can think of to make ourselves overall better people this year.
