I’ve got my “costume” all ready for work. It’s a bit haphazard and more inspired by than actual costume. The hat was thrown together this morning with felt and superglue, but you might recognize the knit bow from a much earlier post. Those pieces, black trousers, a brown jumper and my new shoes make up the extent of my “costume.” Can you guess who my inspiration is?
Halloween is tomorrow! Are you excited? Have you got your costume all lined up? No? Me neither, but that doesn’t mean I’m not really excited for the big day. One of the things I’ve always wanted to do some Halloween is make my own treats rather than hand out commercial candy. Here are some of the treats for both trick-or-treaters and Halloween parties that I’ve been wanting to make.
Despite all my talk about Christmas, Halloween is my favorite holiday (Christmas is actually second). I love all the creepy-crawlers, blood-suckers, ghosts, witches, everything! With a little over 3 weeks to go until the big day (which is a Wednesday, sad day), I’m gearing up with decorations for the office and our home, and I thought I’d share some of the pieces I want to make this year.
