Well, the world is supposedly going to end tomorrow. I’m in the non-believer set, particularly as if it does end, I’ve been rushing to finish these stockings for no reason! Not to mention, would the world really end before the Doctor Who Christmas Special?
I may not have been posting, but I’ve been a busy bee over the past couple of weeks. Christmas is now just over a week away, and I still have a lot of work ahead of me! I think I’m a born procrastinator, though, because I’m getting a rush as the deadline nears.
Well, we’re back to it. Thanksgiving and Black Friday have come and gone, and I’m heading back to work today after a week-long holiday. I didn’t get anywhere near as much accomplished as I wanted, but I did finally finish one project!
It’s Friday! Woo-hoo! After the hectic week at work I’ve had, I’m ready to slow down for the weekend. I’m actually genuinely excited for tomorrow. No, nothing big is happening. I’m just excited to relax a little bit.
It’s Friday! I have a little bit of Rebecca Black and Calvin Harris stuck in my head. I’m so ready for the weekend. It’s been a long, allergy-ridden week, and I haven’t gotten much done. Not much, that is, except for a stocking!
Although I thought I wouldn’t, I cast on a second stocking on Friday night. I didn’t get very far until Saturday, when husband and I decided to have a day in. Then, before I knew it, I was done with the leg portion!
Is it just me or has this week flown by? I feel like I was just getting up Monday morning and it’s now Friday, with very little progress on most of the projects along the way. Oh, and did I mention Christmas is only 74 days away?
Ok, so not really. It was nice and chilly this weekend, though. After 100+s, 90s, and 80s, the 50/60s on Saturday and Sunday were absolutely heavenly. All I felt like doing was knitting all weekend long.
I knew when I made that schedule how silly it was! I always think, “Gee, if I only had a schedule, things would turn out great.” Never happens. I make the schedule and ignore it completely. I do the same with recipes. They’re more guidelines than actual rules.
No joke! It’s only 97 days until Christmas.
