With all the practicing and swatching, aren’t you ready to just get started? I know I’m ready. Continue reading
In a rare move (ha!), I decided once again not to work on any of my many WIPs this weekend. I cast on something brand new and very little.
He’s finished! Well, ok, he’s nearly finished. All his pieces are knit, and most of them are assembled. He just doesn’t have his wings sewn on yet.
After a crazy week that limited the amount of time I could knit, this big guy is finally starting to take shape! He now has hands, feet, and a nose. Despite the lack of running around like last weekend, I managed to be a super busy bee this weekend. Actually, I’m quite surprised at how much I did accomplish for us wanting to just stay home and relax.
Last week, someone asked how I organize my yarn and needles. I have to admit, it’s more like slightly organized chaos around here. Everything has a place, but everything is rarely in its place.
