I finished something! I’m quite pleased! Aside from the sweater, it feels like it’s been so long since I had an FO.
I’m really bad at finishing projects. Often, once I cast off, I consider a project done. That’s not entirely true. There’s more work to be done, but I tend to put off the finishing for as long as I can.
Instead of working on the hat for my friend, I decided to focus on finishing my Ellington sock. I had gotten down to the toe during my lunch hours, and all that was left to finish it up.
What does a knitter do when she (or he) has a staycation? Does this person work on current WIPs? Start a new project? Both? Well, this knitter did both, but in varying degrees of success.

If you’re a Whovian, yesterday was a big day. Ok, understatement, it was a huge day! Rumors had been spreading for months, only recently confirmed in June I think, that Matt Smith would be stepping down from his role. Throw in some wild speculation, betting, and now we have our twelfth doctor!
Weekends go by too quickly. That’s my opinion, anyway. Despite what seemed like a minute, I managed to get a lot of progress done on the Doctor Who scarf, and I finished the béret généreux.
Wow! Last week got away from me almost completely. I was a bad blogger. Even my knitting was neglected. I did not work on anything until Saturday, which is a long break for me.
Hello! How are you? It’s been too long! If you’re seeing this posts, it can only mean one thing: The computer is back up and running!
