This week (June 8th to the 16th) is World Wide Knit in Public Day, which probably should be week, I know. Anyway, that’s not important. What is important is that during this week, knitters (and crocheters) around the world have taken their crafting to the streets.
It’s nearly the weekend! Woohoo! I don’t know about you, but after a crazy week, I’m ready to kick back and relax. Except, there will be no kicking back and relaxing until Sunday.
I know. The box looks like it’s just filled with random knitted bits. When the pieces are all laid out, it looks like I’ve been skinning something. I’m hoping someday it’ll look a bit cuter.
This has felt like the busiest week ever, but hallelujah! It’s Friday!
What a fun end to the week! It’s been a bit quiet around here with all our drowsy weather. I don’t think I’ve made it a day without coffee yet this week.
Woot! There is now only one more day until the DFW Fiber Fest. I’ve been counting down the days since, well, I think since January. I’ve pinched my pennies in anticipation, and now I get to go spend some dough!
Oy vey, am I ready for the weekend, or what! It’s been a long and stressful week, and I’m definitely all set for some relaxation. If only I knew where to find some.
This weekend was a little hectic, but I got a lot of work done on a couple of my big projects. First, the KAL officially started on Friday, though I didn’t really get to work until Saturday. I’ve been spending quality time with the Super Why doll I’m making for a friend.
I’ve been working steadily on the Minion for mom. He’s still a little rough around the edges (and a bit creepy with no eyes yet), but I’m slowly getting near the end!
