Tis the season for the mad dashes, the frantic knitting, and the rushing to post offices to get presents out on time. Just thinking about it now makes me a bit winded. But, for the first time ever in my knitting or otherwise adult life, I will not be in that mad dash. For the first time ever, I made it!
With my knitting group’s Christmas party quickly approaching, I’ve had ornaments on the brain. Ravelry is an excellent resource for finding ornament patterns, which didn’t help much. However, when I spotted these little guys, I knew my search was over.
The year is finally almost over! I’ve been dreaming of this since about August. I’m expecting great things from this new year. Not only is 13 my lucky number, but Pantone chose Emerald as the color of the year. Just so happens I’m a May baby, and that’s my birthstone.
You still here? I’m still here. Then again, the only thing we were told was the world would end on December 21st. Here in Texas, there’s still 16 hours, give or take, left of December 21st. It could happen at any time!
Well, the world is supposedly going to end tomorrow. I’m in the non-believer set, particularly as if it does end, I’ve been rushing to finish these stockings for no reason! Not to mention, would the world really end before the Doctor Who Christmas Special?
I may not have been posting, but I’ve been a busy bee over the past couple of weeks. Christmas is now just over a week away, and I still have a lot of work ahead of me! I think I’m a born procrastinator, though, because I’m getting a rush as the deadline nears.
It’s Friday! Woo-hoo! After the hectic week at work I’ve had, I’m ready to slow down for the weekend. I’m actually genuinely excited for tomorrow. No, nothing big is happening. I’m just excited to relax a little bit.
Rizzle absolutely insisted on being in the photo this morning.
It’s Friday! I have a little bit of Rebecca Black and Calvin Harris stuck in my head. I’m so ready for the weekend. It’s been a long, allergy-ridden week, and I haven’t gotten much done. Not much, that is, except for a stocking!
Although I thought I wouldn’t, I cast on a second stocking on Friday night. I didn’t get very far until Saturday, when husband and I decided to have a day in. Then, before I knew it, I was done with the leg portion!
