Well, hello, Monday! Normally I’m not thrilled to see you. See, I go from waking up at 8 back to waking up at 5. It’s a jolt to the system that I think you’d understand. This week, however, I’m quite pleased with you. You mark 5 days until my stay-cation starts!
It’s nearly the weekend! Woohoo! I don’t know about you, but after a crazy week, I’m ready to kick back and relax. Except, there will be no kicking back and relaxing until Sunday.
I’m in the mood for Spring Cleaning. If you know me, you know that’s weird. I hate to clean. I’d rather just knit!
Oh, it’s Monday again. I wouldn’t say it’s my least favorite day of the week, but it doesn’t rank terribly high. The number one spot goes to Tuesday.
It’s Friday? I think this is the first time in a long time where I’m shocked we’re already here. It feels like it should be Wednesday. I suppose that happens when you’re on the go go go!
This week has just flown right by! Anyone else having trouble getting it to stay still for a moment? I forgot Tuesday and Wednesday (cat-related mischief), and I nearly forgot today, but I think we’re back on track. Today’s 101 topic covers some of the lovely knitting tools we knitters get to use!
Sigh. I have too many WIPs going on. I realize that, even as last week I cast on my first pair of Cookie A. socks. It’s time to get some work done.
My new toys have arrived!
Shopping for yarn when you’re starting out can be terribly confusing. I know when I first began, words like worsted, sport, DK, and bulky meant nothing to me. I didn’t know how you could tell!
I know. The box looks like it’s just filled with random knitted bits. When the pieces are all laid out, it looks like I’ve been skinning something. I’m hoping someday it’ll look a bit cuter.
