Well, Camp NaNoWriMo June edition has been over for nearly a week now. It’s time to return to “normal” life. Time to clean up the neglected house and wash the camp smell (what even is that camp smell, remember the one from when you were a kid?) from your clothes and sleeping bag. Summer camp is over … for now.

Week Four: All Downhill From Here
We are down to the last two days of the Camp NaNoWriMo challenge. By now, you should be well into the 40,000s on the word count and seeing the end in sight. We only have to last a little bit more, and then this whole thing is over.
Week Three: All Caught Up
I honestly did not think it was going to happen. By the end of last weekend, I was 12,000 words behind. It seemed absolutely impossible. Somehow, I dug deep into my creativity and managed to pull through. Now, I am only a couple of hundred words behind, which I hope to make up today.
Dear Mom and Dad,
Camp is once again not going so well. After a tough week when I couldn’t summon any creative energy, I am now just under 8000 words behind. Ooftah! That’s all I can really say to that. Then again, it’s better than yesterday, when I was around 12,000 words behind.
Camp Fridays: Week One
Though technically Camp NaNoWriMo started last week, we’ve only just finished our first full week. To the fellow campers out there: How are you feeling? A little sunburnt, so to speak? Or going strong and ready to compete in the canoe race?
Camp NaNoWriMo: Packing Your Supplies
Okay, so this isn’t a real camp. You probably won’t need the bug spray or sunscreen unless you’re planning to write outside. You won’t need to pack that favourite stuffed teddy bear into your suitcase and hope none of the other campers find him, and there’s no need to try to roll up that annoying sleeping bag that never rolls up quite right. There are, though, a couple of things I’d recommend getting ready as you start your first day of camp.
Camp NaNoWriMo
I know what you’re thinking. This is a knitting blog, and this is two posts in a row that have nothing to do with knitting. She’s incorrigible. I really am. But, it’s my birthday and I’ll write what I want to. Tee-hee.
