Shawl in progress
I really thought I was going to make more progress on my shawl last night than I actually did. I started at row 14 and finished last night at only row 30. I don’t think the pattern was too difficult, though I did have to look up psso (if I read right, it’s the same as skp, so all that fuss for something I already knew). I was just mentally exhausted. This has been a really long week.
I’ve been trying to figure out which shawl/wrap I’d like to make for my mom for her birthday. The task has proven more difficult than I anticipated! I have some guidelines – machine washable, gray or neutral colors, fairly warm – but no idea on design. I’ve rounded up the top 5 designs I’m considering trying out. I’m also open to suggestions!
Tis the season for those infamous/dreaded New Year’s Resolutions! We’ll all promise to lose weight, exercise more, spend more time with our families, manage our finances better, clean the house more often, and everything else we can think of to make ourselves overall better people this year.
